Notes: The census records state Edward`s first name was Edmund and Edward is indicated as his first name on William`s, (his son),death certificate.
The information was probably provided by Eva NICHOLS and was probably in error. All other records including several US Census records say Edmund. Eva also indicated she was the spouse of William. She would have been William`s second marriage. According to some family members, William was never divorced from his first spouse and never married Eva NICHOLS. Eva is listed as housekeeper in William`s home in the 1915 NYS Census.
