Had three baby boys born about a year apart, each of whom lived only a few hours. Homer buried them under the tree in the yard. That land is now under Rushford Lake. Besides those, a baby boy between Rhetta and Forrest liven only a few hours, Harold lived about two months, and Forrest died at age 11. What a sad life! Five children lived to adulthood, and two of the men were alcoholics, as was her husband. Leo, Reuben and Rhetta were fine, Christian people.
When she died, she left five children, 20 grandchildren and 27 great grand children.
Died in Cuba Nursing Home.
