Married by Stephen Tallman, Justice. He inherited the west end of house and 1/3 of homestead in Little Compton near Tiverton from his father and he apparently sold it to his brother John (no record of transaction has been found.) He appears to have lived in Portsmouth where he may have been a hatter. Birth of first 7 children recorded in Portsmouth, RI. He may have moved to Warwick about 1742-43 where last 4 children were born but there is no other evidence to support this. Possible birthdate 1712 from Sandy at 3/21/00 In brother Enoch`s will, he was to be left property, etc. after many twists and turns, and ifs and ands.
