Living in Tamerstone, Holsworthy, England in 1851. Was a blacksmith journeyman. Wrote letter to relatives in Canada in May, 1852 with same information. Daryl found his grave in Pancrasweek, and copied the information. Buried beside him is his wife, Anna Maria (Alfreda Plessum`s information said that his wife`s name was Eliza ARNOLD. His grave says that he died at age 73. We have a marriage certificate for John Honey and Eliza ARNOLD. Will check it out in Devon. In the same cemetery is the grave of Richard GLIDDON, who died 7 Apr 890 at age 57, so he was born sometime around 1833. Marker says he was born in the parish of Launcells. His wife, Prudence Ann, died 1907, age 72. In the nearby town of Pyworthy, are the graves of John Oliver HONEY and Lillian HONEY. but they lived in the 20th century. However, probably relatives.
